Lonely Planet review

Yet another 19th-century beauty, this one could also be a museum, especially considering the quality of owner Akbar's collection of suzani and other antiques. The interior of the dining room, restored but not repainted, is just right. Dinners, if pre-ordered, are cooked in a mud oven in the middle of the courtyard; guests are encouraged to don old-style Uzbek outfits for their repast.
